Monroe Senior Center

The Monroe Senior Center’s purpose is to be a hub for activities and services for older persons and a visible symbol of the community’s concern for its older residents.  The Center’s primary goal is to provide a balance of social, recreational, educational, health maintenance, home management, economic and financial programs to the senior population of the town and neighboring communities.

The new single-story building is surrounded on its perimeter by a sheltered walkway with gabled roofs.  A large multi-functional and light-filled community room feature exposed wood roof trusses and view of Wolfe Park. This facility can accommodate up to 150 visitors.  The facility also includes a kitchen, exam room, library, activities room, administrative and miscellaneous support spaces.
