Located in Stony Creek this rectangular building has been positioned to form a sense of enclosure with the pool and the main residence. The roof is reminiscent of Asian farmhouses and clad with yellow cedar shingles. Running perpendicular to the main roof is a barrel vault, allowing natural light to enter the space. In contrast to the main roof the vault is clad with copper. The building entrance is protected by a metal-clad shed roof supported by free standing columns.
Used primarily for entertaining, the first floor consists of a generous sitting room with bluestone flooring, service counter and changing room, along with a storage area for pool equipment. Overlooking the sitting room is a loft space accessed by a ship’s ladder. An enclosed outdoor shower has been located directly accessible from the changing room.
